SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) is the Federal standard students must meet in order to continue receiving Financial Aid. There are three categories.
Pace: Students must pass 66% of attempted credits
Qualitative: Students must maintain at least a 2.0 Cumulative GPA
Quantitative: Students must complete a whole degree within 150% of the credits required for graduation
Will Financial Aid pay for a class more than one time?
Financial Aid will not pay for a repeated class if the student has already passed the class with a grade that will be counted toward graduation. There are exceptions to this rule if the grade is less than a "C". For example: COM-121 requires a "C" or higher to move on to COM-131 or COM-141. Financial aid will only pay for ONE repeat of any course.
